Painful migrations colxml does not support enclose

Hi, I've trying to do an import of a cvs dump using cpimport. It has been a painfull process since i cannot specify the enclosing character which usually is '"'. If the delimeter char is part of a row. I get errors because of non matching columns. I had to choose the "^" character to create my delimited file. First i had to check if the character did no exisit in the previous dump using grep. The dump has 80 million rows.

Hi,

COLXML is a utility that creates a job file that is used by the bulk load utility, cpimport. The utility does allow the specification of the Enclosed character, but is will not clean up the data being imported. If the character chosen to be used to enclose the fields is included with in the data it will need to be escaped with an escape character.

Thanks,

Robert
