Hello Infinidb

Hi.. i am a new and curious member, who heard a lot about infinidb and decided to give it a try. Although, i installed it successfully and executed some simple queries without error in MySql Query Browser, i want to connect it with my application created in Zend studio. Worst, i failed to find any references or tutorials on net. Can anyone help me out ??

Use any client library that works with MySQL to connect to InfiniDB. The MySQL website has ODBC, JDBC, C and C++ API libraries.

I am not familiar with that framework, so I cannot provide specifics. In general, however, if you can configure your framework to talk to a generic MySQL database, you can use the same connector to talk to InfiniDB, just change the IP Address and port to point to InfiniDB. By default InfiniDB listens on port 3306.

Got it... i kinda guessed the same but was not sure. Now i got it. I have mysql installed, which is using port 3306(by default), so i changed the port no. of Infinidb to 3307 and did the necessary changes(added port no in connection string) in Bootstrap file and puffffff.. it worked.. Now all i am trying is to convert my database from InnoDb to Infinidb. Might take some brain out of me, but better not.

*I provided some extra info, so it might come handy for some reading this.
