cpimport date formats

Hi,

Is there a way to specify the date format of the data you are importing with cpimport? For example YYMMDD?

I've read the admin guide and concepts guide but I couldn't see date formats for imports specified. Is the date format in the concepts guide example (YYYY-MM-DD) the only one that works?

Thanks,

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

Thank you for download and using InfiniDB.

InfiniDB uses the MySQL DATE and DATETIME data types and both store the date in the YYYY-MM-DD format. You could store your YYMMDD in a CHAR or INT.

Unfortunately for me it is a little different from the MYSQL format. MySQL will takea date that is YYYYMMDD and store it as YYYY-MM-DD.

Hi,

The dates will need to be converted to the correct format for cpimport to store them as date or datetime columns.

Thanks,

Robert
