Inside Sales Position

With its unmatched performance and value proposition, the InfiniDB database is positioned to be a disruptive force in the Big Data and SQL over Hadoop markets. Our team is seeking an experienced, inside sales software sales representative to join us.

The Inside Sales Representative role is critical to the growth and success at InfiniDB.  You will use your database experience, leadership skills and influencing skills to challenge the way C- Level Executives, Business Owners and Decision Makers think about their business.  You will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation and selling software.  You have a proven track record of success selling software or services and in building beneficial, lasting relationships with customers. 20 to 30% of your time each day is spent utilizing our CRM to accurately report on customer information, your activities, capturing marketing information, as well as researching customer information and preparing quotes. 


  • Meet/exceed assigned sales revenue goals
  • Inbound lead follow-up and status update through the company CRM system  
  • Outbound prospecting/Lead generation activities
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads
  • Schedule product demos for qualified customers  
  • Manage accounts by building and fostering client relationships through personalized contact, understanding of client’s needs, and ability to communicate solution values of products and services
  • Accurately forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments


  • 8-12 years of experience in selling enterprise software data analytic solutions with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed a sales quota 
  • Experience building a book of business from scratch (hunter)
  • Previously carried a 1 million dollar quota and exceeded quota. 
  • Experience with consultative selling & selling complex deals 
  • Consistent track record of success in consultative sales environments
  • Consistent track record of developing new business and managing sales cycle, from generating leads through closing
  • Recent history of over achieving quota (President's Club, Trip Winner, Over Achiever)
  • Start up experience a huge plus
